Looking Back

Ali Stephens, Cole Mohr & Marcel Castenmiller by David Vasiljevic

This post is in relation to my Barney's CO-OP post on September 29th. I was in too much of a hurry to conjure a note as to why it interested me so much. [In relation to the previous post...] Along with the concept and the styling, I really loved these editorials because of their clear depictions of stylish/styled/fly couples. "Looking Back" has to be thee most appropriate title imaged; it's kind of scary.
- Damn. We really were one of the flyest couples in Boston.

Art as Fashion|Fashion as Art.

"Editorial | James Hampson by Damien Blottière"

At least once every full moon there will be an editorial or advertisement that clearly presents fashion as art more than it does itself. Campaigns like this intrigue me. As an artist I love anything that takes the eye on a voyage and inspires. This is an amazing editorial that accomplishes the goal of making me want the garments. That's one lucky model.
