Not only did I post this for attention towards the menswear of the collection this season, but for a more specific detail. Do you recall a few months ago I noted an intriguing conversation a friend of mine and I had during dinner? In the post entitled "Fashion Post Recession" my friend and I predicted the dramatic yet pleasant return of PRINTS! I stated my belief is,
"fashion will come back to life bigger and bolder than before. Specifically I am referring to prints. BOLD, interesting, even inspiring prints will return. ...pointing out African and Native American prints."And here it is manifested in full form. A movement towards the dramatic yet pleasant return of prints. Seeing as we're nearing close to the end of this recession, America will have the opportunity to appreciate as well as embrace a strong international brand such as Givenchy. Not only do I love this line, it totally coincides with the Egyptian look I've recently found myself obsessed with. Spring 2010? Boom.
