Marina Yachting Spring|Summer 2010

Of course you all know my love for nautical style, which is why including the Marina Yachting Sping/Summer 2010 campaign into my style collective was a MUST. Indulge!
I must thank The Fashionisto. Thank you.

Witchery | Fall 2010

FRESH attires combined with FRESH photography creates a FRESH campaign. Witchery Fall 2010 mens collection attracts me with it's fusion of casual and professional dress. Besides the fact that I HATE the name of the brand, the clothing makes for a realistic prospective RJ Fall statement.

HAPPY BLACK HISTORY MONTH.

Modern African American Men in Fashion. Red Models.

I present to you my favorite African American male models. I know these aren't Historic African American figures, but I don't care. These men represent the African American male in fashion. Together these men are making history, they deserve recognition for that. Besides... I'm captivated by the almost ICONIC way the artist, Fabien Montique, chose to represent them. The work simply teases Warhol. I enjoy it.

BIG thanks to The Fashionisto. My #1 source for all things male fashion.

Tiger of Sweden : Spring/Summer 2010 Campaign

The collection is kind of bland, but what attracts me to it most is the fit of the suits as well as the combination of colors.

Givenchy: Spring ❘ Summer 2010

Givenchy NEVER ceases to amaze me. This is one brand that really COMES HARD when they come hard, which is why they are probably one of my top favorite designers.

Not only did I post this for attention towards the menswear of the collection this season, but for a more specific detail. Do you recall a few months ago I noted an intriguing conversation a friend of mine and I had during dinner? In the post entitled "Fashion Post Recession" my friend and I predicted the dramatic yet pleasant return of PRINTS! I stated my belief is,
"fashion will come back to life bigger and bolder than before. Specifically I am referring to prints. BOLD, interesting, even inspiring prints will return. ...pointing out African and Native American prints."
And here it is manifested in full form. A movement towards the dramatic yet pleasant return of prints. Seeing as we're nearing close to the end of this recession, America will have the opportunity to appreciate as well as embrace a strong international brand such as Givenchy. Not only do I love this line, it totally coincides with the Egyptian look I've recently found myself obsessed with. Spring 2010? Boom.

Special thanks to The Fashionisto and Fashion Gone Rogue.
